Directions to The Capitol Hotel Sydney
Racking up some flight miles? Buckle up on arrival at Sydney Airport for a short 25 minute journey to The Capitol Hotel via taxi or Uber. Otherwise hop straight on a 10-minute train from Sydney Domestic Airport Station to Central Station, then enjoy a scenic 5-minute stroll through Belmore Park to The Capitol Hotel’s doorstep. Easy peasy!
If you’re coming from the Queen Victoria Building (QVB) or Town Hall — even better. Your abode for the night awaits only a 7-minute downhill walk along George Street away.
Arriving by Light Rail? Jump off at Capitol Square or Chinatown – both stops are each just a few minutes’ walk away from your stay.
The Capitol Hotel Sydney Parking
The Capitol Hotel won’t let you roll up without a park. So, if you’ve brought your own wheels to the party, you’ll have access to Capitol Square Parking, the hotel’s safe and convenient partner parking service.
Located directly beneath the hotel building, the car park entrance is situated next to the main doors on Campbell Street. Please keep in mind this service comes at an additional (but discounted) cost of $30 for guests ‘til 11am the day of your departure. You’ll just need to validate your parking ticket at the hotel front desk.
Given the Capitol Square Car Park is independently managed, parking is subject to availability. For more information, please visit the Capitol Square car park website.
PLEASE NOTE: There is no direct lift from the car park into the hotel. Please use the car park lift to make your way back to the Ground level and then use the hotel main entrance on Campbell Street to access the lifts to the reception.
